Hollywood Park, TX

The township of Hollywood Park was incorporated in 1955 and has approximately 1300 homes and 3000+ residents. The neighborhood is bordered by Loop 1604 on the north and US Highway 281 on the east, and covers about 1.5 square miles.

Most of the homes are set on large lots, but there are two newer areas of town, the Gardens of Hollywood Park and the Enclave of Hollywood Park that feature garden home sized lots.

The township provides a large swimming pool, tennis courts, pavilion, clubhouse and playground for use by its residents.

     

Police protection is provided by the Hollywood Park Police, and fire protection and emergency medical response by the Hollywood Park Fire Department, both located near Town Hall at the intersection of Mecca and US 281.

Schools serving this area include Hidden Forest Elementary, Bradley Middle School and Winston Churchill High School. North Central Baptist Hospital and the newer Methodist Hospital Stone Oak are nearby.

There is a voluntary Homeowner's Association in Hollywood Park that schedules activities throughout the year, such as the annual Halloween Party, Free Swim Nights at the pool at the begining and end of the school year, the annual Santa Party for the kids, the Tamalada to welcome new residents to the neighborhood, the Health Fair, the 4th of July Parade and Picnic, etc., which make Hollywood Park a wonderful place to live and raise your family.

The homes in Hollywood Park are varied in size, age, condition and location. Homes range from approximately 1300 square feet to over 5,000 square feet. They were built as long ago as 1950 and as recently as 2009. The condition of the older homes ranges from not updated or well maintained, to maintained with no updating, to maintained and updated to totally remodeled. The majority of the lots are in the .3 acre to .5 acre range, but there are some larger estate sized lots, as well as some lots with bluff views overlooking the Sonterra South golf course.

Hollywood Park is known for the deer and other wildlife that roam within the Park as well as the beautiful oak trees found throughout the neighborhood.
